— A Fuquay-Varina man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly grabbed a Wake County deputy's genitals and encouraged a woman to resist arrest.

Louis Edward Marshall Jr., 46, of 3512 Glass Slipper Drive, grabbed Deputy C. Miller's genitals as the deputy searched him, according to an arrest warrant. He was charged with assaulting a government official.

Marshall was also charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly encouraging Angie Coe to resist her arresting officer at the Wake County Public Safety Center. Coe then actively resisted the officer, according to the warrant.

No other information was released.

fisunt-braddavis was quoting the original post, which used "quotes" and not "quotas."

---What the heck is faustly? And I'm a former LEO....if I was paid on production(quota), then I would've been on fire with the ticket book!! There are no QUOTES......apparently there was no grammar school for you either!

Oh, this one is easy... the guy didn't like being arrested, and he ESPECIALLY didn't like getting searched. In his mind, the officer was violating him by searching him, patting him down, so he retaliated by grabbing a handfull. This is further evidenced in inciting the other woman to resist arrest. Probably something along the lines of "oh, you want to grab my junk, how 'bout I grab yours? Angie, resist these fools, these cops are jokes, blah blah blah"

That's how I envision it going down, at least... He is lucky he wasn't beaten substantially...

Gee, I bet the deputy is delighted this made the news. Kind of tacky, WRAL.

Poorboy, you know this to be true. Then how do you explain when the officer has to take the charge infront of a magistrate. they determine if there is evidence of a crime. Wow, I now there are bad apples on all departments, but that king of thinking is just crazy.

Note to Journey985. My Son is the Deputy who was assaulted. You should be ashamed for your sophmoric comments. Note to Jeff_W. Mr. Marshall reached around when he was being cuffed from behind. Had he done this while facing the officer, it believe would have been a very sad day for Mr. Marshall.
