Wake County sheriff’s deputies charged Barbara Ann Satterfield, 31, of 400 Lennie Smith Road, with embezzlement, forgery and financial card theft.

Deputies said Barbara Satterfield stole more than $20,000 from Atlantic Building Group Inc., where she worked for two years.

Her husband, Nathan Miles Satterfield, 31, is charged with accessory after the fact. Deputies said he helped his wife spend the embezzled money.

Barbara Satterfield was released under a $60,000 secured bond, and Nathan Satterfield under a $25,000 secured bond.

Both are scheduled to be in court Monday.
