Fuquay man charged in rape of 3-year-old
A Fuquay-Varina man was charged Saturday with sexually assaulting a 3-year-old, according to arrest warrants.

FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. — A Fuquay-Varina man was charged Saturday with sexually assaulting a 3-year-old, according to arrest warrants.
Alonzo Quentin Powell, 21, of 300 Ashewyck Commons Court, Apt. H, was charged with first-degree sexual offense, rape of a child and indecent liberties with a child. Warrants state that the offenses took place between Oct. 15 and Nov. 5.
Powell was being held in the Wake County jail under a $1 million bond.
