Jimmy, Karen and Krysta, Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. If I could say a "pretty prayer" for you right now to ease the pain, I would. Take care and know that you are loved- the whole community is wrapping their arms around you right now.

I met Karen and Jimmy at the Jaycees National Convention last year in Myrtle Beach. They were awarded the "Family of the Year" award. After spending 5 minutes with them, I could totally understand why they were chosen. Their love and devotion to their family was obvious!

I'm so sorry for their loss of Kyle. My thoughts and prayers are with both of them. I'm also thinking of Kirsta who lost her brother.

If I can help in ANY way, please let me know.

As Salem Baptist church members we will miss Kyle's joy and great sense of humor. Kyle stood out in youth group, and not just because of his hair. All of his SBC family will miss him and are all looking forward to the day when we will see him again. God bless you Kyle. To the Byrd family we pray that during this time of grief that the Lord gives you strength that you need to sustain.

My daughter knew Kyle from school/band and thought highly of him. His sister was in my son's class. I know his father from working at the courthouse where he is highly thought of. My family's thoughts and prayers are with the Byrd family.
