Friday Freebies: Tons of Veterans Day freebies!

Posted November 9, 2012

We went to the TGIF in Cary today to accept their offer of a free lunch for Vets. Waited 25 minutes and left with no table in site. Let me say this, it was a totally disingenuous for them to offer all the Vets in the Triangle a meal and then allow 3 hours only for their offer. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!! Total lack of respect to us, the veterans community. I encourage a boycott.

Does anyone know of any outings (not restaurants) offering deals to veterans on Monday? MY children are out of school and I'd like to spend the day out with them. It would be nice to find a family friendly environment for Veterans that day. Thanks!
