October 23: Food Lion Hunger Relief Day

The annual Hunger Relief Day is Thursday, October 23. Bring five cans of Food Lion brand food to the N.C. State Fair on Thursday, Oct. 23, and you will receive one free admission ticket.

SALE: Select Food Lion canned veggies are on sale for .68 per can. Buy 5 for $3.40 plus tax. Donate the 5 cans at the State Fair entrance on 10/23 and you get in for for just the cost of the canned food! Regular admission for ages 13 - 64 is $9.00 per person, so this is a great deal!

The donated food will go to the The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. They will distribute the cans to those in need in a 34 county area surrounding Raleigh.This is a fantastic way to get a super discount on fair admission AND help your neighbors in need!
