PNC Arena opens practices to NCAA basketball fans

Posted March 20

If you have some unscheduled time Thursday and kids who love basketball, the teams competing in the NCAA Division I men's basketball championship this weekend at PNC Arena in Raleigh will have free, open practices today.

It's a great opportunity for families with young kids, tracked out kids, homeschoolers and others to catch a little bit of the action and excitement of this weekend. Both admission and parking are free for these short practice times.

Here is the schedule for today's practices:

Noon: Mercer
12:45 p.m.: George Washington
1:30 p.m.: Duke
2:15 p.m.: Massachusetts
4:25 p.m.: Memphis
5:10 p.m.: Virginia
5:55 p.m.: Tennessee
6:40 p.m.: Coastal Carolina

As a Virginia alumna, wife of a Virginia alumnus and child of two Virginia alumni, I'm pretty sure I'm required to end this post with this: Wahoowa!!! Go Virginia!!!
