Free HT Traders cookies for first 2000!

Harris Teeter is giving away 2000 boxes of their HT Traders Sir Chocolat cookies to the first 2000 who sign up on their Facebook page!

The freebie will be loaded to your Vic card so you will need to enter your Vic number on the form. If you qualify for this freebie, it will be available on your card starting January 30 through February 19th.

I just got through and I hope you do too! Let us know if you scored this freebie because it won't last long.

Scored at 3:36pm on 1/16/13! Harris Teeter still giving them away (must be under 2000). Looks like Harris Teeter is looking for opinions. To qualify, you have to provide your name, address, phone, and VIC card number, and when you go through checkout and use your VIC, you'll get the cookies free. Because of the way it's worded, it looks like I'll somehow be asked to give my opinion of the cookies... I'm guessing I'll receive an email with a weblink to provide my opinion after I go through checkout and get the cookies free...

Nanny - it is not a sample. Once you fill out the form, you will get a confirmation that indicates that the free whole box of cookies will be loaded to your Vic card on January 30. Then you go into the store, buy the box of cookies and the total cost of the cookies will be deducted at the register automatically when they scan your card. You will not be sent a sample. If you didn't see the confirmation screen right after you registered, try to get the freebie again. If it went through the first time, it will indicate that you can only register once. Hope that helps!

At the risk of sounding a bit dense but maybe I was in a bit too much of a hurry to see it (at work) but how do you know for sure that you got your free cookie sample? I think I got it but am not sure.
