Free fitness classes from O2 in Downtown Raleigh all month!
O2 Fitness is hosting the Shape Up Downtown event during April. They will be offering free fitness classes every Monday - Wednesday! Read on for the details.

(March 26, 2014) – For the fourth time, O2 Fitness, the largest locally owned fitness company in North Carolina, will host its successful “Shape Up Downtown” event in downtown Raleigh. The free event series will be offered every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in April, and will give members of the community the chance to try an array of popular fitness classes while enjoying the warmer weather.
This year’s class schedule includes Ballet Barre, BODYATTACK™, BODYCOMBAT™, BODYFLOW™, Bootcamp, CXWORX™, INSANITY®, Total Body Conditioning, Yoga and Zumba. Shape Up Downtown will literally kick off on Tuesday, April 1 with a Les Mills BODYCOMBAT™ class. Inspired by martial arts, this unique class draws from a wide range of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and Muay Thai. Participants that have recently taken Les Mills classes like BODYCOMBAT™ and BODYATTACK™ can expect to exercise to new tunes and choreography because O2 Fitness instructors will be teaching newly released class routines.
Another new partner for this year’s event, Inside-Out Sports has been in business in the Triangle for the past 20 years and will also be on site at Shape Up Downtown every Tuesday. To start the series off on the right foot, Inside-Out Sports will raffle off a pair of shoes and be ready to answer any and all running-related questions at the April 1 class. They will also lead short runs immediately following the Tuesday classes.
All Shape Up Downtown classes are free and open to all ages and abilities. While the series will take place at City Plaza, the nearest O2 Fitness club is located just down the street at Seaboard Station. The Triangle is home to a total of 12 O2 Fitness locations.
