RALEIGH, N.C. — Patriotic events, baseball and free music make this one exciting week.

Monday

Fire in the Triangle continues this week with battles between some of our favorite local restaurants. Tickets start at $59 for the six-course dining competition. In today's battle The Oxford takes on City Kitchen.

Tuesday

In Fayetteville, the NC Symphony is putting on a free concert to celebrate the Fourth of July early. They will be playing patriotic favorites and other classic songs.

Wednesday

Head to the DBAP for Food Truck Fest, where you can chow down on your favorite food truck cuisine while watching the ball game.

Thursday

View some art, relax on the terrace and enjoy a beer tasting, all at the Nasher Art Museum's Brew & View event. The tasting is $5.
Some community Fourth of July events are this evening. Browse our listings to find one near you.

Friday

Celebrate Independence Day around the Triangle with fireworks, concerts, family-friendly activities and more. Some popular events are The Works in downtown Raleigh and the Jammin' Jazz Fourth of July at the American Tobacco Amphitheater in Durham.
