Four nabbed in Fayetteville heroin bust

— Fayetteville Police arrested four people Monday on drug charges.

In a search of two locations – 1900 Slater Ave. and 1205 Henderson Ave. – vice unit officers seized more than $10,000 worth of heroin and $20,000 in cash, police said.

Robert McQueen, 59, is charged with 21 counts of trafficking heroin and four counts of conspiracy to sell and distribute heroin.

Madeline Chambers, 48, is charged with 15 counts of trafficking heroin and 16 counts of possession with intent to sell and distribute.

Chester Hunt, 66, is charged with three counts of trafficking heroin.

Randy Chambers, 38, is charged with one count of conspiracy to sell and distribute heroin.

    The truly sad fact is that the worst the economy gets the more of this we're all going to see. People will do just about anything to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.

    Heroin in NC!! The war on drugs definitely needs to be reevaluated so that the government can get a better handle on things.

    What how much probation these leeches will receive! We need stiffer sentences for drugs that are as addictive as heroin!!!
