Four people were taken to WakeMed Monday evening after a car hit a minivan head-on near Bunn, State Highway Patrol officials said.

According to investigators, Christian Sledge, 16, was driving northbound on Sledge Road about 8:20 p.m. when he ran off the road, over-corrected and struck a minivan traveling southbound head-on.

Sledge and 18-year-old Matthew Watson, both of Louisburg, were seriously hurt in the wreck. Sledge was treated and released.

The driver of the minivan, 84-year-old T.J. Todd, of Louisburg, was in fair condition Tuesday morning. His passenger, Georgia Game, 74, was in serious condition.

No charges have been filed in the wreck, but Highway Patrol officials said they are still investigating.
