Four caught at Goldsboro school break-in

— Wayne County deputies caught four people, three of them juveniles, Sunday evening on the campus of Rosewood Elementary School, at 126 Charlie Braswell Road.

Deputies said the four had broken into a building owned by Rosewood Elementary Youth Sports and had taken approximately $216 worth of merchandise. The total loss due to damage to the building and equipment stored there was estimated at $1,100.

William Raymond Richards IV, 16, of 503 Holland Hills, was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods. He was released under a $50,000 unsecured bond. The three juveniles were released to their parents and will be charged by juvenile petitions.

    Well, good job to the WCSO. Get em' while they're young, maybe they'll learn their lessons before they get older... Probably not though. High bond, but it is unsecured after all.

    $50,000 dollar bond for causing $1000 in damage?? People suspected of assault, rape ,etc often get bond much less than that. Strange. I wonder what is really going on here???
