— A body found in Aberdeen on Friday has been identified as Amy Sands, the Moore County woman who has been missing since early November, Aberdeen police said Monday.

Sands, 47, of Ed Thomas Road, was last seen Nov. 4 after leaving Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Aberdeen police said Sands was inside an Aberdeen Walmart when she had a medical emergency and was taken to the hospital.

I have read the story posted here, and can not see anything that she drowned, or suspected suicide.
Why do the investigators susupect foul play?

It's always tragic when the world loses a beautiful, young woman.

Drowning is actually not a very common method when it comes to suicide. I feel bad for her though if this is indeed what happened.

Does it matter that she is a pretty / beautiful woman? Why does that make it any worse? This is a horrible situation for her family regardless of how she looks!

This is sad. She was really pretty too. Such a shame.

Quite often drowning is a form of suicide (if this is found to be the case in this situation) and suicide is not considered to be foul play.

What a beautiful woman. So sad to know that she has passed. Prayers to her family and friends.

No foul play suspected, even when she was found dead in a pond behind some homes? It will be interesting to learn the cause of death. Quite sad.
