— A Fort Bragg soldier was stabbed four times and robbed early Thursday at a local apartment complex, police said.

Randall Liska, 25, was stabbed twice in the back and once each in the neck and leg, police said. He was being treated at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

Liska befriended two men at the Secrets nightclub on Bragg Boulevard late Wednesday, and the three planned to meet later at an apartment in the Tamarack on the Lake complex off Rosehill Road, police said.

Liska was stabbed at the apartment at about 4:30 a.m., and his wallet and car keys were stolen, police said.

He knocked on at least two doors for help before someone called 911, police said.

Police have a vague description of the two assailants, but no arrests had been made by noon Thursday.

Liska is a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, but information regarding his rank and unit hadn't been released as of noon Thursday.

Glad his wounds are non-life threatening. He has to use better judgement than that in the future.

Glass, what do you think they were meeting for? Sounds like more than friends to me!

Not the best neighborhood, that's why he had to knock on a few doors. Where did it say it was his apartment complex? I missed that part. Very poor judgement from the way it reads. What would you need to meet two new male acquaintances at 4:30 in the morning in a questionable part of town for? Sounds like trouble looking for a place to happen and it found one.

What is wrong with the people who live in this soldier's apartment complex?
