— A Fort Bragg soldier was killed in Afghanistan Friday, the military announced Sunday.

Sgt. 1st Class Riley G. Stephens, 39, of Tolar, Texas, died of wounds from enemy small-arms fire in Wardak, military officials said. Stephens served with the 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group.

    Where are the anti-war activists and flag draped coffin photographs since a democrat became president? The slain Ambassador had it, and the president's presence, too. We are leaving in 2014, and that is taken as victory and pacifier, I suppose. Let's leave now.

    God Bless Sgt. Stephens and his family. So many tragic losses. Thank sir for your service. No matter how/what we feel about what's going in the Middle East, it's still important that we support our military, after all they ARE under orders.....we should certainly be grateful for their sacrifices and service. God speed Sgt. Stephens.
