FORT BRAGG, N.C. — A man who admitted that he sexually abused a 5-year-old girl at his mother's daycare faces 14 years in prison.

Judge James C. Dever III sentenced Timothy R. Lukens Tuesday for the abuse, which took place in February at 212 S. Dougherty Drive.

Lukens admitted to police that he performed a sex act on the girl in a bathroom, according to an indictment.

The girl told her father's fiancee that she had been "touched" by "Tim," according to the indictment. The girl's statements were reported to military police on Fort Bragg who then turned the case over to the FBI.
