Fort Bragg airman killed during training exercise

— Fort Bragg officials say an airman died Thursday morning during an Air Force training exercise on post.

Senior Airman Timothy J. Wright, 30, was fatally injured when a Humvee ran over him during a unit readiness training exercise, according to officials on post.

Wright, a member of the Pope Army Airfield 43rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, had only been stationed in North Carolina for a few months. He was originally from Pensacola, Fla.

    He must not have been wearing his PT belt
