Former manager accused of setting bank bag on fire

RALEIGH, N.C. — A former manager of a Raleigh fast-food restaurant is facing charges that he fried up more than burgers.

Earnest Sennet, 34, is accused of setting fire to a bank bag belonging to the Cook Out restaurant on Western Boulevard.

Police charged that he did it to hide his having stolen more than $5,000 from the bag he was supposed to deposit in the bank.
