Former Fayetteville Mayor Dies

Fayetteville, N.C. — A former Fayetteville mayor died Tuesday morning.
Wilbur Clark served as mayor from 1963 to 1965.
Clark, 94, was also a state highway commissioner. He was credited with building the U.S. 401 bypass.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
A service is planned for Thursday morning at Highland Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville.
