The average commuter in Raleigh pays $6.10 each day to drive to work and home again, according to Forbes magazine.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The average commuter in Raleigh pays $6.10 each day to drive to work and home again, according to Forbes magazine.

Raleigh ranks as the eighth-highest commuting cost in the U.S., the magazine said.

Riverside, Calif., drivers have the most expensive commute at $7.16 per day. Atlanta has the second-most-expensive commute, followed by Washington, D.C.
