Raleigh, N.C. — A look at where you can find food trucks and events for foodies this week.
This Saturday, the City of Raleigh rolls out the green carpet with a festival to introduce everyone to Dorothea Dix Park. The event is loaded with activities from a Ferris wheel, vendors, food trucks, a beer garden, hot air balloons, wine bar, and multiple live music stages. Get info about parking and shuttles.
Bull City Ciderworks is opening a restaurant with Bull City Street Food
This year, Bull City Ciderworks opened a facility in Lexington to produce cider. Their growth is continuing. Last week, owners announced that they and Durham-based food truck Bull City Street Food, are opening the gastropub Bull City Ciderhouse in early August. Around the same time, on Aug.13, they will have a Food Truck Feast at their Lexington facility.
The Dude Abides Party
The North Carolina Museum of Art hosts its very own version of Lebowski Fest, celebrating the Dude, on Saturday. The event will include a food truck rodeo, White Russians to drink and other things the Dude would love including giant lawn bowling. Tickets are $6 for non-museum members.
Jingle in July
Food trucks, live music and more highlight the Capital City Clauses' annual event Saturday night at City Limits Saloon in downtown Raleigh. Tickets are $10 at the door and proceeds go to purchase school supplies for children in Wake County.

Fellow WRAL blogger, The Triangle Explorer, alerted me to a new hot dog truck in the Hillsborough area. Fetch Hot Dog serves specialized hot dogs with a variety of toppings and names.
