Food trucks gear up for busy holiday weekend

Some of this weekend's Independence Day celebrations will include your favorite food trucks.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Some of this weekend's Independence Day celebrations will include your favorite food trucks.
On Sunday, July 3, Nickelpoint and Neuse River breweries will team up for an Independence Day Block Party. Baozi, CockADoodleMoo and Cousins Maine Lobster will be there, as well as, vendors and live music.
On Monday, July 4, the Town of Knightdale will hold its celebration at Knightdale Station Park starting at 5 p.m. This free event will include The Embers, lots of food trucks, family activities and fireworks.
Also on Monday, July 4, trucks will be lining Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh for The Works. That free celebration will include games, Gouge wrestling and live music. The fun starts at noon and runs until 11 p.m.
