Food truck news: Qspresso celebrates 1 year

A look at what's new with your favorite food trucks this week.

Chef Vivian Howard, known for the TV show A Chef’s Life and the Kinston restaurant, Chef and The Farmer, announced they are rolling out a food truck. Before you reach for Twitter or log into your favorite Food Truck tracking app, the food truck is roaming with Howard’s inaugural cookbook, Deep Run Roots. The food truck will follow the book tour and serve some of the recipes found inside the book. The tour starts October with many stops in the Triangle late October through early November. Be sure to reserve dates now, as some have already sold out.

The popular food truck that serves Cuban and Latin cuisine is celebrating one year serving cubanos, arroz con pollo and other fan favorites.
