RALEIGH, N.C. — Find your favorite food trucks at these events this week:
Belgian Waffles at Southpoint mall
Just in time for the holiday season, Belgian Waffle Crafters has opened a kiosk in the Southpoint food court, claiming the title as the third food truck to open a permanent location in the mall. Porchetta and American Meltdown both opened locations last year.
Clayton brewery hosts food truck rodeo Sunday
Deep River Brewing will host Chirba Chirba, CJ’s Street Food, CockADoodleMoo, Spanglish and Captain Cookie and the Milkman for their last food truck rodeo in 2016.

The event starts at noon.

Downtown Cary hosts 2nd Annual Triangle Chili Challenge
This Sunday, the Downtown Cary Food & Flea craft market will host the Triangle Chili Challenge, an event featuring both mobile and non-mobile restaurants and Cary’s finest emergency responders. The teams will compete for the best chili, and the public can help by tasting it all. Last year’s winner was Bull City Street Food.

Food Trucks raise money for Durham’s Carolina Theatre
On Wednesday, Nov. 16, American Meltdown, Pie Pushers and Chirba Chirba will put on an eclectic, three-course dinner for the Carolina Theatre’s 90th Anniversary Food Truck Dinner. Diners will be sat on the theatre’s historic stage during this unique event. You can reserve for one of the two seating times on the theatre’s website.
