Posted April 2, 2013

Food Lion has some good buys this week on hot house tomatoes, green peppers, chicken, cheese, Turkey Hill ice cream and more!  Please share any other good deals you find!

These deals are valid 4/3 - 4/9.

Food Lion Coupon Basics

Food Lion does not double coupons

They have no limits on number of coupons they will take, unless specified in the ad

BOGO items ring up at half price so if you only buy 1, it rings at half price. You can use a coupon on each BOGO sale item.

You cannot use Food Lion store coupons and manufacturer's coupons on the same item. "Stacking" coupons like that is not allowed per the Food Lion coupon policy.

The ad indicates that prices are valid for stores in these cities: Apex, Bunn, Cary, Clayton, Franklinton, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Louisburg, Morrisville, Raleigh, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell, Youngsville, Zebulon. If you do not live in one of these cities, your ad may be different and you can check for any differences on FoodLion.com.

E-Coupons: You can now load RedPlum.com manufacturer’s coupons to your Food Lion MVP card and when they scan your card at the register and you buy the qualifying items, the discount will come off automatically. I spoke with corporate and they confirmed that these are manufacturer’s coupons and not to be combined with hard copy manufacturer’s from the newspaper and other sources. She said their policy is only 1 coupon per product. No e-coupons will double. Click HERE for more information.

Weekly e-mailed coupons: I’ll post the weekly coupons as soon as they are available.

I have a paper coupon for the Turkey Hill All Natural ice cream and was wondering if I will be able to use it for the Turkey Hill that is on special at Food Lion

yes tightwad, any of them can be frozen.. I have frozen the pineapple upside flavor and the lemon.. tastes great right out of freezer .. we actually eat a fair amount of yogurt and this past week i have probably bought at least 60 i know but some are in freezer and the expiration dates are mostly in may.. wonderful deal.

tightwad-did you get any whipped yogurt? you could put some of it in the freezer...and have some frozen yogurt!

No I don't like buying extra air, but freezing is a good idea. Does it have to be whipped to freeze? Wonder if the regular can be whipped? Might try it out.

kinda thankful the yogurt deal is over. I wound up getting 30, and the kids haven't exactly been diving into them. Most of one shelf in the fridge is yogurt. Reminded me of the sale last year when FL brand yogurt cups cost .25 and you'd get a $1 cat for every 4 FL products bought = lots of free FL cups.

the turkey hill coupons online that I printed were for their Natural label. Will these work for their, I guess you'd call it un-natural version?

There are also additional Turkey Hill Icecream coupons on there facebook page.

I agree, mys. There are actually some deals I will be going for this week including the .99/lb hot house tomatoes, cukes, green peppers, grapes and Turkey Hill ice cream. I was unable to print the ice cream coupon from my computer a couple weeks ago so I sent them an e-mail asking if they would be willing to send any coupons via mail. They sent like $10 worth of ice cream and drink coupons! It was really nice of them.
