Updated: 2013-01-08 23:37:00

Good deals at Food Lion this week include green peppers, cantaloupe, Lay's potato chips, green onions, rice, and more. The Store Brand Super Sale is also continuing. Please share any other deals you find!

These deals are valid 1/9 - 1/15.

Food Lion Coupon Basics

Food Lion does not double coupons

They have no limits on number of coupons they will take, unless specified in the ad

BOGO items ring up at half price so if you only buy 1, it rings at half price. You can use a coupon on each BOGO sale item.

The ad indicates that prices are valid for stores in these cities: Apex, Bunn, Cary, Clayton, Franklinton, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Louisburg, Morrisville, Raleigh, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell, Youngsville, Zebulon. If you do not live in one of these cities, your ad may be different and you can check for any differences on FoodLion.com.

E-Coupons: You can now load RedPlum.com manufacturer’s coupons to your Food Lion MVP card and when they scan your card at the register and you buy the qualifying items, the discount will come off automatically. I spoke with corporate and they confirmed that these are manufacturer’s coupons and not to be combined with hard copy manufacturer’s from the newspaper and other sources. She said their policy is only 1 coupon per product. No e-coupons will double. Click HERE for more information.

Packy and others, Faye has pointed out in the past that the FL coupon policy states: "Customers may not use more than (1) one coupon per item with a maximum of (10) ten coupons for the same item per customer" However I have used both STORE and MANUFACTURER's coupons without an issue.

My coupons won't print....and when I tried a second time, it wouldn't let me....wonder if I went to another computer with a different IP address???

nakabi, our school collects the Box Tops. We get .10 per little box top. We'd be happy to take them off your hands.

clinton-I purchase things all the time with box top things, but don't know what they are for. (all my kids are 3 and under) I'd be happy to send you whatever I have when I buy them if you want to tell me what they are for. lol

Packy, I also have used a store q w/mq before with no problems.

Packy, you should be able to use both store and MFG coupon on the item. I have done this in the past. If anyone gets the 500 pt label for education print out and need a school to donate it to PLEASE contact me!!

In response to your question about cara cara oranges (we eat a lot of them in South Africa), they are similar to grapefruit on the inside appearance, but aren't bitter and do not have seeds. They are really quite sweet and are delicious when chilled.

I printed my FL coupons and noticed that it has "store coupon" so does that mean we can stack these with a MQ? I'm sure you've addressed this at some point that I missed.
