Food Lion Deals: Tomatoes, chicken, Xtra laundry detergent & more!

Posted December 25, 2012

With New Year's Day less than a week away, you'll find good deals on collard greens and blackeye peas. You'll also find deals on chicken leg quarters, chicken breast, tomatoes, Xtra laundry detergent, my essentials soda and more!  There's also a great $5 off $5 purchase coupon in the weekly printable coupons!

Food Lion Coupon Basics

Food Lion does not double coupons

They have no limits on number of coupons they will take, unless specified in the ad

BOGO items ring up at half price so if you only buy 1, it rings at half price. You can use a coupon on each BOGO sale item.

E-Coupons: You can now load manufacturer’s coupons to your Food Lion MVP card and when they scan your card at the register and you buy the qualifying items, the discount will come off automatically. I spoke with corporate and they confirmed that these are manufacturer’s coupons and not to be combined with hard copy manufacturer’s from the newspaper and other sources. She said their policy is only 1 coupon per product. No e-coupons will double. Click HERE for more information.

Weekly e-mailed coupons: Food Lion printable coupons for this week include:

$5 off a $5 purchase, coupon not applicable towards the purchase of tobacco, alcohol, gift cards, postage stamps or services, Limit 1 print per person, expires on 12/29/2013. I believe the person who typed this one in made a little error with the expiration date. I am pretty sure they meant to put 2012 instead of 2013. Some Harris Teeter stores will accept printable competitor's coupons for a total off your total order so your HT may take this coupon.

cushioncritter ~ The one on Capital in WF is always down! I even called corp. and they really didn't seem to care too much. Manager did call me to apologize but said that there was nothing that he could do.....

Chances of the kiosk working at the Youngsville FL: about 30%. Elsewhere, about 80%.
