Food Lion Coupon Basics

Food Lion does not double coupons

They have no limits on number of coupons they will take, unless specified in the ad

BOGO items ring up at half price so if you only buy 1, it rings at half price. You can use a coupon on each BOGO sale item.

E-Coupons: You can now load RedPlum.com manufacturer’s coupons to your Food Lion MVP card and when they scan your card at the register and you buy the qualifying items, the discount will come off automatically. I spoke with corporate and they confirmed that these are manufacturer’s coupons and not to be combined with hard copy manufacturer’s from the newspaper and other sources. She said their policy is only 1 coupon per product. No e-coupons will double. Click HERE for more information.

Free Holiday Dinner Promotion: Spend $40 or more in one shopping trip for 6 weeks between October 3 and November 27 and get a $20 coupon good on anything in the store. You have to give them the coupon on the last page of the ad this week to enroll in this promotion. Each week you spend $40 or more, you will get a ticket. Collect 6 of the tickets and you get the $20 coupon. See the ad for details including items that do not count toward the $40 requirement.

Deli Platter coupon: There is a coupon in the ad for $5 off a $30 or more Food Lion deli platter.

Weekly e-mailed coupons: The printable coupons this week include a $2 off $10 purchase in the meat department and additional coupons for FL cereal, Kotex, Depends, Kleenex, Scott products.

I was able to use both coupons on the biscuits :)

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Nov 14, 2012

Hi queene - Food Lion's policy is that they won't let you use a store kiosk coupon and a manufacturer's coupon on the same items so I am not sure they will let you do the Pillsbury biscuits scenario you mentioned below. Your store may let you use both, but most won't.

Thanks for the Brown gravy info! :-)

  • queene01 Nov 14, 2012

mccormick brown gravy powder is also on sale - bogo - 69 cents for 2! woo hooo!!

    Pillsbury biscuits(3 for 5$) give you a 1 off from kiosk and also 40 cents q - making them 3 for $3.60

  • Blue Devil Woman Nov 14, 2012

Great! This will save me a couple more bucks on my ham for thanksgiving. Thanks Faye.

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Nov 14, 2012

Blue Devil - they should take both since the meat coupon is not for a specific brand.

  • Blue Devil Woman Nov 14, 2012

I am talking about the SS coupon for the smithfield ham. thanks

  • Blue Devil Woman Nov 14, 2012

I have a food lion $2 off a $10 meat purchase. Can this coupon be combined with SS coupon?
