Updated October 31, 2012

Food Lion deals this week include hot house tomatoes, chicken leg quarters, chicken breasts, navel oranges and more!

These deals are valid 10/31 – 11/6.

Food Lion Coupon Basics

Food Lion does not double coupons

They have no limits on number of coupons they will take, unless specified in the ad

BOGO items ring up at half price so if you only buy 1, it rings at half price. You can use a coupon on each BOGO sale item.

E-Coupons: You can now load RedPlum.com manufacturer’s coupons to your Food Lion MVP card and when they scan your card at the register and you buy the qualifying items, the discount will come off automatically. I spoke with corporate and they confirmed that these are manufacturer’s coupons and not to be combined with hard copy manufacturer’s from the newspaper and other sources. She said their policy is only 1 coupon per product. No e-coupons will double. Click HERE for more information.

Free Holiday Dinner Promotion: Spend $40 or more in one shopping trip for 6 weeks between October 3 and November 27 and get a $20 coupon good on anything in the store. You have to give them the coupon on the last page of the ad this week to enroll in this promotion. Each week you spend $40 or more, you will get a ticket. Collect 6 of the tickets and you get the $20 coupon. See the ad for details including items that do not count toward the $40 requirement.

Weekly e-mailed coupons: Click HERE for the weekly coupons including some for Butcher's Brand beef, my essentials items, produce, Purina Be Happy dog or cat food and Nature's Place chicken.

Unilever Promotion: Receive a family size rotisserie-style chicken (hot or cold) when you spend at least $20 on participating Unilever products in a single shopping trip through 11/6. Limit 1 reward per shopping visit.

juli...are you my dear friend from GOLO???? (ms_shortay)

juli - I look forward to meeting you! I hop3 traffic isn't bad and have a safe drive in!

I usually buy my chicken at Lowes Foods when it is $1.99 or less. The Sanderson Farms brand that is sold there does not inject with broth or water, as many other places do.

Not meaning to hijack the Food Lion blog but I always buy my boneless chicken at Wal-Mart for $1.99 a pound and under. Faye, I've tentatively signed up via email with Mary to attend the Dunn class on Saturday, however, I live in Carolina Beach so I have to see how the traffic is ... don't want to be late!
