Flight 874 landed safely in Atlanta and no injuries were reported, said Kathleen Bergen, a spokeswoman with Federal Aviation Administration.

The plane landed about 8:38 a.m. and taxied to the gate without incident, Bergen said.

More details on the mechanical issue were not immediately available.<br />
