Raleigh, N.C. — A Delta Air Lines flight headed to Raleigh-Durham International Airport from Atlanta made an emergency landing shortly after takeoff Friday morning after the crew reported engine trouble.
Flight 874 landed safely in Atlanta and no injuries were reported, said Kathleen Bergen, a spokeswoman with Federal Aviation Administration.
The plane landed about 8:38 a.m. and taxied to the gate without incident, Bergen said.
More details on the mechanical issue were not immediately available.
