WHITEFISH — WHITEFISH - The ongoing investigation into threats that forced most schools in Flathead County to cancel classes on Thursday and Friday continues -- and so do the ramifications for students.
Whitefish Schools Superintendent Heather Davis Schmidt said in a statement posted Friday morning on Facebook that,"?school districts throughout the valley will not be hosting or traveling to any athletic or extracurricular activities today and through the weekend."
The decision was made after administrators consulted with law enforcement and were been advised that the situation has not been resolved," Davis Schmidt said.
There has been no decision made yet about whether or not classes will resume on Monday. Davis Schmidt says Whitefish schools will contact parents no later than 6 p.m. on Sunday?with an update.
