Fla. truck driver hospitalized after Cumberland County assault
A Florida truck driver was being treated at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center early Thursday after being assaulted on Goldsboro Road near Interstate 95, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said.
Posted — UpdatedWADE, N.C. — A Florida truck driver was being treated at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center early Thursday after being assaulted on Goldsboro Road near Interstate 95, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities found Wael Wael, of Jacksonville, early Wednesday after a passerby noticed him lying on the median.
He was listed in critical condition Thursday morning.
No information about the assault was released, but Cumberland County authorities were seeking the public's help.
