Five schools buses vandalized at Harnett school

Five schools buses were vandalized early Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, outside Harnett Primary School in Dunn, police said.

— Five schools buses were vandalized early Thursday outside Harnett Primary School in Dunn, police said. 

The driver's seat and part of the interior of one bus was burned, and the exteriors of four other buses were damaged by the liquid inside fire extinguishers. Three fire extinguishers were used by those responsible for the vandalism, police said.

School officials discovered the damage at about 6:15 a.m. No injuries were reported.

    Rebelyell55, the max juvenile restitution in NC is only $500, regardless of the amount damaged. Wait until NC raises the juvy age to 18 and see what it cost victims.
