RALEIGH, N.C. — Fire in the Triangle is down to only four chefs! This week, we will be getting to know the semi-finalists a little better.
Next up is Chef Chad McIntyre of The Market, who will be going up against Chef Scott James of Midtown Grille Tuesday night for a spot in the finals.

Here are McIntyre's answers to four questions we posed to him:

What are the five things that are always in your refrigerator at home?

Actually pretty low key as far as ingredients go. Milk, eggs, butter, kimchi, homemade pickled ginger, whole wheat tortillas. You know, the basics.

The last five restaurants where you dined – can’t be yours!
Seaboard Grill (love the burger)
The Taco truck on Hodge Road (AWESOME)
Seoul Garden (spicy fish cakes)
The Daily Planet (anything they do is top quality)

Hillsborough BBQ (my favorite)

Five favorite cities to dine in and why?

Definitely New Orleans; I am from Louisiana. Baton Rouge and Lafayette are tied for second. I miss the poboys from Ole-Time in Lafayette. Nashville, Tenn. has some incredible restaurants. Chicago's china town has the best pho. I know that this will be a little bit of heresy, but Oklahoma Joe's in Kansas City, Mo. has my all time favorite BBQ.

Finish this sentence – “The best thing I ever ate was…..”

Roasted Duck Bread Pudding over honey vinaigrette mixed greens. I had this dish almost 16 years ago and can still remember the roasted, savory, hardy taste of the dish.
