RALEIGH, N.C. — Fire in the Triangle is down to only four chefs! This week, we will be getting to know the semi-finalists a little better.

Let's get to know Dean Thompson of Flights, who will be battling Monday night for a spot in the finals against Jason Cunningham of Washington Duke Inn

What are the five things that are always in your refrigerator at home?

Always on hand at the Thompson House Refrigerator or Pantry: Keebler Fudge Sticks, Chips and Salsa, Bargain Light Beer, Chicken Breast, Skim and 2 percent Milk

The last five restaurants where you dined – can’t be yours!

NY Pizza Holly Springs, My Way Tavern, CJ’s Street Food (Food Truck), Bojangles’, Dorry’s Downtown Deli

Five favorite cities to dine in and why?

Providence RI- Most under rated food city in the country

Charlotte NC- up and coming food scene

Long Island NY- best mom and pop places in the world i.e. Bagels, Sandwiches and Pizza

Myrtle Beach SC- Fried seafood and Bimini’s Oyster Bar

Holly Springs NC- Home cooking

Finish this sentence – “The best thing I ever ate was…..”

The best thing I’ve ever eaten is Texas Pete Fried Chicken Thigh on white bread with extra hot sauce on top, Crinkled Fries with Ketchup, and Boars Head Pickle Spear
