I deliver in this area for another chain. Here's hoping that the assaulted driver was not too shaken up. Glad to hear that worse wasn't done.

Be considerate to your pizza guy. Turn on the outside lights (I won't get out of my car without a light on or at least confirmation that you're my customer and not some fake address), acknowledge them (get off the phone - this one is rude), realize the delivery fee isn't a tip (we are paid below minimum wage while on the road, and a pittance delivery fee of $1.15 at my store), and (above all) don't rob and beat them!

Yes, it is a driver's choice to work for peanuts, but the tips (usually) make up for it. Too bad we have to consider being robbed as well :(.

Bet if a few deliver drivers put a few holes into robbers that such crime would cease to happen. My favorite cliché: what is allowed is what will continue.

The complex issue of solving this problem needs to start before age 6, if right from wrong is not understood by then, well, this is what you have. Worse is that birds of a feather will flock together. And these are not 'men', they're adults, and now plain criminals.

Seriously, they are going to go to prison for $20 and 4 pizza's? They are just going to LOVE jail food.
