Stroller Strides Midtown Raleigh will be starting a new session of Fit4Baby next month.

The prenatal program is designed for pregnant moms to strengthen the body as it experiences the many changes of pregnancy. Exercise during pregnancy can also improve your mood; help reduce back aches, constipation,  bloating and swelling; and help you sleep better, among other benefits, according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

The courses combine strength training, cardiovascular exercises and stretching and balance exercises.

Classes are 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday, starting Sept. 10. They take place at Trinity Baptist Church Recreation Outreach Center off Six Forks Road. Classes are for four-week sessions. The entire course is $10 per class. They are $15 per class if you drop in.
