First Citizens Bank robbed in Wilson

Just before 1 p.m. Monday, the First Citizens Bank at 1430 Tarboro St. was robbed and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

WILSON, N.C. — Police are looking for man accused of robbing a Wilson bank.

Just before 1 p.m. Monday, the First Citizens Bank at 1430 Tarboro St. was robbed and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken. 

Police described the robber as a light-skinned black man with a tall and slender build.

He was wearing a baseball style cap, a long sleeve light-colored under shirt, and a darker short sleeved outer shirt. He had on long pants and light colored tennis shoes.

The robber left the bank on foot crossing over Ward Boulevard toward Thurston Drive.
