Firefighters respond to flames at Chapel Hill dairy farm
Orange County officials responded to a fire at a popular ice cream farm in Chapel Hill Sunday afternoon.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Officials responded to a fire at a dairy farm in Chapel Hill early Sunday afternoon.
According to the Orange County sheriff, flames were reported at Maple View Ice Cream, a dessert parlor and dairy farm located at 6900 Rocky Ridge Road, at about 12:45 a.m.
Officials said the attic of the milk bottling building at the farm was damaged in the fire. No injuries to people or cows have been reported.
