Firefighter injured in Goldsboro fire
A firefighter was injured while battling a blaze at a vacant home in Goldsboro early Sunday, Wayne County emergency dispatch officials said.

Firefighters were called to the fire in the 400 block of East Walnut Street shortly before 6 a.m. Officials said the roof partially collapsed, and debris fell onto the firefighter. He was treated and released from Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
