RALEIGH, N.C. — Fire in the Triangle is heating up this week with new chef match-ups, and we wanted to give you a chance to get to know the competitors.
On Wednesday night, chef Peter Spear of Pup's Steakhouse in Wilson will compete against chef Adam Jones of Dean's Seafood Grill & Bar in Cary.

As a first-time competitor, Spear has been preparing by following the competition online and researching what chef Jones did during his last Fire in the Triangle. He thinks they will be strongest in the entree and dessert courses.

Jones competed in 2012 and has since been working in several kitchens in his position at Rocky Top Hospitality. To prepare for the competition, he went to farmers' markets and looked for unusual North Carolina products to cook with at home.

Check out our video interviews with the chefs to learn more about them!
