Fire in the Triangle preview: Flights vs. Cantina 18
Get to know the chefs behind the restaurants before their June 23 Fire in the Triangle Battle.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Fire in the Triangle is less than a week away and we wanted to give you a chance to get to know the chefs battling it out!
On Monday, I met with the current Fire in the Triangle champion, Dean Thompson of Flights at the Renaissance Hotel in North Hills in Raleigh. He is trying to defend his title this year. Find out how he plans to do that and what changes he has made to his team this year. Just watch the accompanying video clip.
He will be taking on Joseph Yarnell of Cantina 18. This is Yarnell's first time competing in a Fire in the Triangle. This Wake Tech Culinary grad shared with us his favorite foods to cook and eat in the accompanying video.
