HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. — Crews from two fire departments battled a blaze at a mobile home in an unincorporated area Wake County near Holly Springs early Saturday.

The fire broke out in a modified double-wide trailer at 9024 Turner Drive shortly after 2 a.m., officials said.

Units from the Holly Springs Fire Department responded the call and asked for assistance from the Apex Fire Department. Firefighters had to use Apex's ladder truck to put out the flames.

Crews continued firefighting efforts through 4 a.m., but said the blaze stayed mostly contained to the mobile home.

Officials said the fire likely started in the kitchen. No injuries were reported.
