Fire destroys Four Oaks home, displaces 4

Fire gutted a mobile home in Four Oaks Saturday night, displacing four people who lived there.

FOUR OAKS, N.C. — Fire gutted a mobile home in Four Oaks Saturday night, displacing four people who lived there.

According to fire officials, the people living in the home at 626 Boyette Road were heating the house with the stove. They left to go to the store and the house went up in flames.

Officials said no one was injured in the blaze, however a puppy did not make it out of the home.

The Red Cross has stepped in to assist the family.
