Fire destroys abandoned home in Durham

A fire destroyed an abandoned home in Durham on Friday, fire officials said. The house was unoccupied, and no injuries were reported.

DURHAM, N.C. — A fire destroyed an abandoned home in Durham on Friday, fire officials said.

The Durham Fire Department responded to the house, in the 200 block of Infinity Road, around 3:40 a.m.

The house was completely engulfed in flames. It took 20 minutes to extinguish the fire.

The house was unoccupied, and no injuries were reported.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
