Fire did heavy damage early Tuesday to a home in western Cary, Apex Fire Department officials said.

CARY, N.C. — Fire did heavy damage early Tuesday to a home in western Cary, Apex Fire Department officials said.
Crews responded to 1804 Holt Road, which is off N.C. Highway 55 north of downtown Apex, at about 3 a.m.
No injuries were reported in the blaze.
No information about the cause of the fire has been released.
