Fire damages top story of Willow Spring home
Fire did heavy damage to the top floor of a home in Willow Spring early Wednesday. Crews responded to the home, in the 7300 block of Single Pond Lane southeast of Fuquay-Varina, about 10 a.m.

Crews responded to the home, in the 7300 block of Single Pond Lane southeast of Fuquay-Varina, about 9:30 a.m. Video from WRAL's Sky 5 showed firefighters extinguishing the blaze within about 45 minutes.
No injuries were reported in the fire, according to Fuquay-Varina fire officials. Investigators said the fire started near the HVAC unit, but they did not determine a specific cause.
