RALEIGH, N.C. — No one was injured in a fire that heavily damaged a two-story town house early Tuesday, authorities said.

The blaze at 3013 Coxindale Drive broke out about 1:30 a.m. and consumed about 60 percent of the home, according to the Raleigh Fire Department. Flames erupted in the front and attic, and it took about 30 firefighters about two hours to bring the blaze under control.

The cause remains under investigation. Red Cross was assisting the two displaced residents.
